Photos from the Vidyapeeth Technofest just leaked online, and one file looks odd. The picture itself is a normal code-drawn poster for the fest. But images carry more than pixels: cameras and editors hide text inside the file, in a section called EXIF metadata.
You are given campus.jpg. Somewhere in its metadata, the event photographer left an encoded note. Your job: read the EXIF data, find the ImageDescription field, decode its base64 value, and you will have the flag.
You can use the free tool exiftool on your own computer, or any online EXIF viewer. Real investigators use metadata every day: it tells you which device took a photo, when, and sometimes far more than the photographer intended.
